We have great support from club members and riders, the club actively encourages new riders to the sport.

2026 Winter Race Series Round 1 - Atkinson Dam 17th May

TO ENTER THIS EVENT, ALL RIDERS MUST: Have a valid "AJSBA Day License" or "AJSBA Annual License" (this can be purchased from the ticket options below) Current QPWC membership (either Trial, full or reciprocal) - Tickets will say unavailable unless you are logged in and have an active membership. The QPWC recommend that all riders have ambulance cover and PWC Insurance. The QPWC have a Drug and Alcohol Policy. By competing you agree to participate in testing if required at any time. Ticket sales close Wednesday 13th May at 11:59:59PM. Late Tickets are availble after this time for an additional fee. Late entries accepted on the day via online late ticket purchase only. additional fee's apply for buying tickets after the 14th of May cut off. Avoid this late fee and buy you ticket early. Do not purchase tickets for other entrants with your log in, they must log in themselves and buy tickets. Spectators are very welcome, please bring your lunch and a gazebo for shade.  There is to be no shore launching, you must use the dedicated ramps (Atkinson Dam Boat Ramp). This will be strictly monitored. During the event. You must not enter or allow your guest/s or team members to enter the pit or race area with alcohol. Be considerate of others when setting up and parking your vehicle so you don't hinder their views or comfort on the day. You must remove all rubbish at the end of day, leave the event grounds better than when you arrived. End of the day packup, we do expect all entrants to assist with packup before leaving. This club is run by volunteers, lets all help each other get home early. How do you enter / buy tickets? You must sign in, and have an active membership - If you don't, it will say "membership required" next to the tickets Click the blue "GET TICKETS" button Select your first class. Eg. Beginner runabout circuit $150 If you also wish to enter the enduro, select "stock runabout enduro (extra class)" $50 If you are beginner, choose beginner runabout circuit & stock runabout enduro (extra class) if you are wishing to go in both. There is no beginner enduro class. AJSBA Day Racing License is essentail to purchase if you do not have an active AJSBA Annual License. Once you've selected your tickets click the "CHECKOUT" button and fill out the required information and the ski's details. For the event you must have either a AJSBA day license or an AJSBA Annual License. Tick the applicable box once you enter checkout.   Which class of rider are you? COMPETITION RIDER CLASSIFICATIONS Beginner   This is where everyone starts off and is the entry class into our sport, we do allow modded and stock skis in this class as this is strickly for the beginner rider's entry into our sport - Recommended min 6 months+ or 6 events whichever is greater before you can apply to have the license upgraded. The Race Director may put you into a higher class at their discretion. (to stop advanced riders entering Beginner classes) First Event: You must see the race director and will be given specific instructions for your first event to proof competency. Amateur Runabout / Ski Stock class rules as per rule-book. Must be a recommended min. 12 months+ or 6 events whichever is greater before you can apply to have the license upgraded Expert Runabout / Ski Limited class rules – min 24 months or 8-10 events at least one national and at least 2 state and 1 national podium finishes before you are graded to move to Pro class, however at local club events after 18 months or 6 quality events you may be assessed to ride a OEM Hull with modifications heading towards Open/GP in the Open/GP class starting from outside lane of grid. Pro / Open GP If one complete season is missed then they must go back to expert, for every year you miss you have to then race in 3 rounds in expert level before you can get reassessed   Please note that all classes will require a minimum of 5 entries before being run. Some classes, may be joined at the discretion of the race director, but you will be scored separately.
