COMPETITION RIDER CLASSIFICATIONS Beginner   This is where everyone starts off and is the entry class into our sport, we do allow modded and stock skis in this class as this is strickly for the beginner rider's entry into our sport - Recommended min 6 months+ or 6 events whichever is greater before you can apply to have the license upgraded. The Race Director may put you into a higher class at their discretion. (to stop advanced riders entering Beginner classes) First Event: You must see the race director and will be given specific instructions for your first event to proof competency. Amateur Runabout / Ski Stock class rules as per rule-book. Must be a recommended min. 12 months+ or 6 events whichever is greater before you can apply to have the license upgraded Expert Runabout / Ski Limited class rules – min 24 months or 8-10 events at least one national and at least 2 state and 1 national podium finishes before you are graded to move to Pro class, however at local club events after 18 months or 6 quality events you may be assessed to ride a OEM Hull with modifications heading towards Open/GP in the Open/GP class starting from outside lane of grid. Pro / Open GP If one complete season is missed then they must go back to expert, for every year you miss you have to then race in 3 rounds in expert level before you can get reassessed   Please note that all classes will require a minimum of 5 entries before being run. Some classes, may be joined at the discretion of the race director, but you will be scored separately.
