QPWC Club Practice day at Bells Beach, QLD. Car Parking and Boat ramp via Pelican Park. Entry for Racers is from TidyHQ online & pre-paid only, before deadline. No exceptions. No entries accepted on the day. Spectators are very welcome, please bring your lunch and a gazebo for shade. Make sure your gazebo is NOT pegged into the ground ( you must use weights ) - Council permit requirements. There is to be no shore launching, you must use the dedicated ramps. This will be strictly monitored. During the event. You must not enter or allow your guest/s or team members to enter the pit or race area with alcohol.  Be considerate of others when setting up and parking your vehicle so you don't hinder their views or comfort on the day. You must remove all rubbish at the end of day, leave the event grounds better than when you arrived. How do you enter / buy tickets? Select if you are coming on your own, or are going to bring a non member friend to try out jetski racing. You can bring more than 1 friend, but you'll need to buy a ticket for each person (free) as we need their details in the system. If you are coming on your own (cos you have no friends) entry is $50. OR go find some friends, and bring a non member friend to try out (you get the tickets under your membership but include their details on the ticket) Then the cost for you and them is $0.00. You don't require membership or a AJSBA / day license for this practice day, but you must have a valid PWC license, and you must bring it with you and present if requested. We want people to come try it out, and this is the best way we can think of to promote it. They will need all the correct safety gear, but they can bring their own ski or ride yours. (PFD, motocross helmet, footwear) - back brace not required for practice days, but recommended.   Add your tickets and fill out your and the ski's details. End of season trophy presentation. BBQ lunch provided. BYO drinks (This is a family friendly event so please don't go stupid on the beers) All friends, family etc are welcome. But please note we've only got a small budget for the BBQ, so if you bring the whole family please also bring some extra food / nibbly's etc for them. Please grab a ticket for each person attending so we can organise food.   Trophy winners were announced in our last post. If you see your name, you will be presented with a trophy. If you are unable to attend, you can collect your trophy from Brisbane Kawasaki from the 8th of January, If you wish to bring your ski, you are more than welcome too, as this is not a sanctioned Jetski event, we will be sharing the beach with everyone else. By kind, respectful and above all else understand that your behaviour is on display as representatives of our club, we expect the best from our members.

SCOM's may be used but no performance tuning - Must be a recommended min - 12 months+ or 6 events whichever is greater before you can apply to have the license upgraded First Event: You must see the race director and will be given specific instructions for your first event to proof competency.       Amateur Runabout / Ski Stock class rules as per rule-book. Must be a recommended min. 12 months+ or 6 events whichever is greater before you can apply to have the license upgraded     Expert Runabout / Ski Limited class rules – min 24 months or 8-10 events at least one national and at least 2 state and 1 national podium finishes before you are graded to move to Pro class, however at local club events after 18 months or 6 quality events you may be assessed to ride a OEM Hull with modifications heading towards Open/GP in the Open/GP class starting from outside lane of grid.     Pro / Open GP If one complete season is missed then they must go back to expert, for every year you miss you have to then race in 3 rounds in expert level before you can get reassessed       Please make sure that your QPWC Club Membership is complete, you can find the link below for this Without the Club Membership + AJSBA License or QPWC Day License you will not be able to race.   Please note that all classes will require a minimum of 5 entries before being run. Round 3 of the QPWC Club Racing at Lake Somerset, QLD. This is a 2 day event. Including the Perpetual Cameron Martin Enduro. Winner takes perpetual trophy, trophy to keep and $500 cash from the Cameron Martin family. Prizes given from 1st - 5th. Mens open class & Women's open class. This is an OPEN class for Men's and Women's. There is no discount given if you wish to run this additionally to the circuit racing, due to the prizes avaialble. The Enduro will be run over 3 races. 2 short races on Saturday (1 morning and 1 in afternoon), 1 longer race on Sunday. Accumulation of points over all 3 races will crown the winner. We will be monitoring this and you will need to purchase the correct tickets. Choose your circuit race first, then extra class if racing in additional circuit races. The Cameron Martin memorial is a separate event run in conjunction with our club day, it is not considered an extra class. 2023 QLD State Title, held by the QPWC at Atkinsons Dam, QLD. THIS EVENT IS RUN OVER 2 CONSECUTIVE DAYS. QPWC is not authorised to process your medical information. All racers in the Amateur and Beginner classes only need to fill out Section 1-3 of the medical certificate form and they can SELF-CERTIFY. They do NOT need the form to be signed by a medical examiner however they are encouraged to fully explore and check their own personal health before PWC racing of any kind.
